The Conference “Argus Mineral Fertilizers 2019. Production and Logistics in the Caspian-Black Sea Region” took place on March 14—16, 2019 in Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan. Representatives of our Company participated in the Conference.
The commissioning of new mineral fertilizer production facilities in the countries of the Caspian region and Central Asia, where the production of such products exceeds the demand of the domestic markets in these countries, will increase the supply of export shipments in the ports of the Black Sea.
The Conference was attended by delegates from manufacturers, traders, logistics and supply companies.
А Forecasted increase in shipments of carbamide and other types of fertilizers towards the Georgian ports poses new challenges to the transport and logistics infrastructure of the Caspian-Black Sea region.
A visit to the SOCAR plant was organized on the 3rd day of the Conference.
The launch of the SOCAR Carbamide Plant in Sumgayit will meet the needs of Azerbaijan for carbamide and also allows the manufacturer to claim the role of one of the key suppliers of this product to Turkey, Ukraine and Eastern Europe countries.
